As a part of the program, Field Aviation is currently modifying a Boeing-owned Challenger 604 as the Maritime Surveillance Aircraft (MSA) demonstrator. Field Aviation's extensive structural modifications to the Boeing MSA demonstrator are taking place now at the company's production facility at Toronto's Pearson International Airport.

Brian Love, Field Aviation's chief commercial officer, commenting on Boeing's selection of Field Aviation as the MSA modifier and integrator said, "The opportunity to participate on this program with Boeing is a welcome recognition of Field Aviation's proven capabilities. We are both excited and extremely proud to be part of this undertaking and we will commit significant resources to ensuring that this program is nothing less than an outstanding commercial and operational success".

"As we work to complete the demonstrator modifications and flight testing, we are also now focusing on the production phase of the MSA program and scaling to meet market demands. Magarian added, "We plan to conduct the MSA program modifications at our Toronto facility, with aircraft completion work being conducted at a new facility in the U.S. on which we will commence construction in the coming months."
